The Death of King Henry VII

Under Cause of Death for Henry VII, the Guinness Book of Answers states: "had rheumatoid arthritis and gout". But several Internet sources – including Royal Museums Greenwich, Wikipedia, and Town and Country Magazine, give tuberculosis as the cause of Henry's death. In the words of Town and Country: "considering the long, wasting trajectory of the disease, this is the generally accepted conclusion by scholars, however, as is the case with many historical deaths, limited concrete evidence remains."
